Local Impact
In addition to providing financial support for key national partners of Tee It Up for the Troops such as Fisher House Foundation and Warfighter Sports (a division of Move United), the Organizing Committee for our Rochester event has also proudly donated to many local veterans support organizations including:
- Family Services Rochester
- Ironwood Springs
- Operation Hometown Gratitude
- Seasons Hospice Veterans Fund
- Elks Veteran Community
Each year, our Committee allocates 50% of our net event proceeds to the strategic national partners and the remaining 50% to support veteran’s organizations in our own “backyard.” Through these targeted donations, we feel that we can more effectively assist in providing critically needed services for veterans and their families. Our History
Our 2021 Rochester Tee It Up for the Troops Golf event is in its 15th year. This Tee It Up for the Troops charitable event started back in 2007 at Willow Creek Golf Club and has since donated over $650,000 to veterans service organizations providing critical care to veterans and their families.
Since the inaugural Tee It Up for the Troops event at Mendakota Country Club in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, Tee It Up for the Troops has hosted over 500 fundraising events across the United States and donated over $12,000,000!
